Holiday Baking

Holidays are full of family, tradition and surprises. Here at Mackenzies’, we love to get out the old holiday recipes and make our old favorites. From Almond Banket (our Dutch grandmother’s recipe) to Coconut Macaroons and Chocolate Butter Cookies to Fruitcake and Yule logs we enjoy making (and tasting) these treats every year.

And each year we try to make something new as well. This year we have updated our CC Rudolph cake, with a festive new look. Chocolate “antlers”, a cherry nose and buttercream sleigh bells make this Rudolph shine! The inside is still a deliciously dark chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and cherries.

New this year is Peppermint Swirl Bundt Cake. Light and flavorful and not too fussy. Mint is also featured with a new Peppermint Swirl Cheesecake. The chocolate mint crust makes this cheesecake double-minty! We have a new Chocolate Cheesecake too!

Look for our new Santa Hat doughnuts and new designs of holiday cookies. Check out our brochure on the home page (Features this Month button) for descriptions of our holiday products. We will be open on Christmas Eve from 7 AM to 2 PM. Closed on Christmas Day and on December 26.
